programs or Industrial Cooperative Education (ICE) programs. Students must be 16
years of age, and recommended by their instructor/coordinator. Enrollment in the program is limited.

Curriculum for the one-week class will be provided by the National Center for
Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Students who have completed the
specified modules in their high school program will not have to repeat those modules,
but will be provided special enrichment opportunities.

The sponsoring companies for participation in the summer internship will interview
students completing the one-week orientation class. The number of summer internships
is limited and not all students completing the one-week orientation class will be offered
employment.
